LED Lighting the Way

Rockville recently retrofitted 395 lights at Rockville Civic Center Park to energy-efficient LEDs, including at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and 18 lights in the parking lot below Glenview Mansion. 

The improved lighting efficiency is anticipated to save roughly $8,000 in annual electricity costs at the theater. The project was funded in part by a Pepco rebate and a Maryland Smart Energy Communities grant from the Maryland Energy Administration.
