Meet District 17’s Delegation in Annapolis

Mix, mingle and chat with the senator and delegates who represent District 17 in the Maryland General Assembly. The Monday, Jan. 26 event, to be held in Annapolis, is sponsored by the four-person District 17 delegation.

Rockville will provide a bus to transport the mayor, council, city staff and residents who would like to attend the meet and greet. Seats are available to Rockville residents on a first-come, first-served basis. The buses will leave from and return to the main entrance of City Hall.

All Rockville residents are welcome to attend the event and can use their own transportation.

A reception in Annapolis is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., followed by a brief tour and attendance at a House or Senate session.

District 17 covers Rockville and Gaithersburg. It is represented by Sen. Cheryl C. Kagan and delegates Julie Palakovich Carr, Ryan S. Spiegel and Joseph Vogel. The 449th session of the Maryland General Assembly convenes at noon, Wednesday, Jan. 14.
