Conversations with the Mayor and Council to Connect Community with its City

A new Rockville 11 show gives the community a closer look at city issues, initiatives and decision-making. “Conversations with the Mayor and Council” features rotating members of the Mayor and Council leading discussions with city leaders and staff on topics ranging from legislation and city services to programs and upcoming events.

The goal of the series is to provide clearer insight into how the city works and what’s happening across Rockville. The first episode, which is focused on public safety, is hosted by Councilmember Barry Jackson. Jackson sits down with Rockville City Police Department Chief Jason West for an in-depth conversation covering traffic safety initiatives, community policing efforts and new police programs planned for the city.
