Rockville’s 2026 summer camps are gearing up for another season of fun and families can secure their spots soon.

Registration opens 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 for residents and Thursday, Feb. 12 for general registration, at rockvillemd.gov/registration.

Summer Blast Camps return with full-day and extended-day options at elementary schools and community centers. Park Adventure Camps will offer full- and half-day sessions at neighborhood parks throughout Rockville. Both camps serve children ages 5-12 and run Monday, June 22 through mid-August.

Activities include swimming, field trips and a variety of games, crafts, water activities and outdoor playtime. Specialized camps include cooking, drama, STEAM, gymnastics and art, with new coding and pickleball camps added for 2026. All camps are licensed by the state and follow federal, state and local health and safety guidelines.

Teens can earn Student Service Learning hours as volunteers or join Teens on the Go for daily trips. College and high school students ages 16 and older can apply for summer positions at rockvillemd.gov/careers. Camp staff are selected for their enthusiasm, passion and experience working with children.
