Join the Rockville Pedestrian Advocacy Committee (RPAC), city staff, and elected officials for a walk-n-roll event to celebrate Walktober, a monthlong celebration highlighting the importance of pedestrian safety and transportation.

The walk-n-roll route is just over one mile and will highlight recently completed pedestrian projects and opportunities in the Twinbrook neighborhood. Afterwards, RPAC will host a candlelight vigil in remembrance of victims of traffic violence.

The event begins at 6 p.m. The walk-n-roll is expected to be just over one hour and the candlelight vigil will be held immediately afterwards. The walk-n-roll will begin and end at the Twinbrook Community Recreation Center.
