2026 Taiwan Bubble Tea Festival

Taiwan Sister Cities and Rockville Sister Cities Corporation invite you to the 2026 Taiwan Bubble Tea Festival on Saturday, Sept. 19! The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Square in Rockville Town Center.

The annual festival celebrates Taiwanese culture and features bubble tea, cultural activities and performances, live music, and local food and beverage vendors. Since 2018, the family-friendly event has attracted an estimated 15,000 or more patrons.

This year, the festival will expand beyond The Square. Maryland Avenue from Beall Avenue to Middle Lane will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19. Residents along Maryland Avenue should use the loading dock entrance off Middle Lane to access the parking garage during the closure.
