The Dust Bowl, a period of severe dust storms that caused major ecological and agricultural damage across American and Canadian prairie lands from 1930-1936, affected some areas until 1940. Using photos, videos and firsthand accounts from the Panhandle Plains, explore its causes and the methods used to stop the storms. Presented by Panhandle Plains Historical Museum.
