Rockville City Police Department Open House

The Rockville City Police Department invites the community to its 2026 open house, a free, family-friendly event offering residents a behind-the-scenes look at their local police department. The open house will give residents an opportunity to tour the police station, explore marked police vehicles and learn more about the tools and resources officers use in their daily duties.

Highlights will include:

• K-9 team demonstrations.
• A display of RCPD motorcycles and an opportunity to meet the officers who ride them.
• A community services booth with free giveaways and information about community programs.
• A hands-on display of equipment officers use to keep Rockville safe.
• Photo opportunities with officers and police vehicles.

No registration is required. Parking will be available in nearby city garages, with free parking available two blocks away at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave. Staff will be on-site to direct visitors.

In the event of inclement weather, the open house will be rescheduled for the same time on Saturday, Oct. 3.
