The Rockville Pedestrian Advocacy Committee is replacing the monthly committee meeting with a spring Walk-n-Roll event in the East Rockville Neighborhood. The walk-n-roll is a good opportunity to meet pedestrian advocates in Rockville and learn about ongoing city pedestrian projects.
The walk-n-roll will begin at 6 p.m. at the Burgundy Park Shopping Center, 701 First St. The route is about one mile long and is expected to end at 7 p.m.
The Rockville Pedestrian Advocacy Committee is composed of residents and stakeholders seeking to improve the walking and rolling environment in Rockville. They provide comments on city projects, advocate for improvements, and learn about pedestrian safety concerns.
