Boards and Commissions Task Force

The Boards and Commissions Task Force reviewed the Rockville City Code and Charter for clarity, understanding of purpose, structure, effectiveness, necessity, and membership requirements of each board and commission. The task force’s findings and recommendations were provided to the Mayor and Council in a report and evaluation dashboard submitted in October 2019. Additional testimony from task force members was provided following submission of the report.

The Boards and Commissions Task Force consisted of nine members who were appointed by the Mayor and Council:
