Local Artists Lent Their Talents

The Rockville Storm Drain Mural Project, sponsored by the city and VisArts, is helping to educate the public about the impact collective actions have on local waterways and the Chesapeake Bay. Artists decorated city storm drains in Twinbrook with original mural designs related to how storm drains – and what goes into them – impact the health of local waterways. A walking tour of the murals begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 23 at the Twinbrook Metro Station. Learn more here.
