Permitting Fee Increase Approved

The Mayor and Council approved fee increases at their May 14 meeting for permits that include building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and almost all other construction trades, for both residential and commercial projects, in order to better reflect the cost of providing those services.

The fees will take effect July 1. This is the first fee increase for Inspection Services Division permits since July 1, 2012.
