Rockville Provides Need-to-Know Information for Tenants and Landlords During COVID-19 Emergency

April 27, 2020

The City of Rockville is recommending several online resources to help rental property managers and owners combat the spread of COVID-19.

Owners and managers of all multifamily properties can use the following information to help residents stay safe and healthy, and know their rights during the emergency:

  • Printable Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance on cleaning and disinfecting facilities.
  • CDC guidance on protecting yourself.
  • Resident rights regarding Gov. Larry Hogan’s executive order suspending evictions.
  • Helpful, printable tips to fight COVID-19.

Rental property managers and owners will receive a letter with that information directly from Rockville City Manager Rob DiSpirito.

For more information, contact the city’s Code Enforcement at 240-314-8330 or Landlord-Tenant Affairs divisions at 240-314-8320.
