Pesticide Law Applies – So Don’t Apply Weed and Feed
December 29, 2021
The new year brings a new law regarding lawn care in Rockville.
The Mayor and Council voted in April to allow Montgomery County’s pesticide law to apply in the city, effective Saturday, Jan. 1. The law restricts the use of certain pesticides on private lawns, playgrounds, mulched recreation areas and child care facilities, prohibiting most synthetic pesticides.
