Your Generosity Was on Display During 2023 Holiday Drive

More than 100 people volunteered and 147 individuals and organizations that donated delivered a brighter Thanksgiving and Christmas for those in need in Rockville through the 2023 Holiday Drive.

Thirty-one organizations and individuals will be recognized with certificates and plaques based on their level of donations.

Donors receiving certificates recognizing their kindness are: Astor Sanders Corporation; Stephanie Beckett; Marika Brown; Burke Legal, LLC; Laurel Nikol and Dana Keoki Jackson; Aileen Klein; Howard and Joanne Lewis; Rodney and Evonne Ludema; Raymond James Global Account; Susan Reinsch; Joe Roediger; Kristina Sullivan; United Bank, Rockville branch; Vanguard Marketing Corporation; Wealth Tea, Inc.; ISS Corporate Solutions; Apex Companies; and the Julius West Middle School Student Government Association.

Distinguished donors receiving plaques are: Kaye A. Craft; Christopher Kern; Bridget Donnell Newton and Frederick W. Newton; Loren J. Scherbak; Nancy Taylor; Sandra Yerkes Trust; Faith United Methodist Church; Robert Frost Middle School; and Shady Grove Medical Center.

The 2023 Holiday Drive raised a total of $40,097 of combined money and in-kind donations (which included gift cards worth $3,375). This year, the drive helped 694 families at Thanksgiving, and 492 families, with 1,279 children, during the December holiday season.
