Rockville Charges Ahead with New EV Stations

Electric vehicle drivers have more options for charging up across Rockville with the unveiling of four new Level 2 chargers at Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park in October.
The installation at the park at 1800 Piccard Drive in King Farm adds to the city’s network of charging stations. In April, Pepco officials joined city officials to cut a ribbon on two publicly available charging stations on Vinson Street adjacent City Hall. And the city’s partnership with Pepco means a new DC fast charger will soon be operational at Thomas Farm Community Center, 700 Fallsgrove Drive, where two Level 2 chargers and one DC fast charger already exist.
