City’s Financial Assistance Program Can Help in an Emergency
March 6, 2025

Facing eviction? Utilities about to be shut off? Need help paying for prescription medication?
Emergency financial assistance is available to eligible Rockville residents facing a financial crisis through the Rockville Emergency Assistance Program.
Referrals for emergency food, clothing, financial and employment counseling, and other assistance are also provided.
All applicants for financial assistance must have a court-issued notice of eviction or a notice of pending disconnection. Applicants may be asked to first apply to the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services. Montgomery County DHHS will submit a referral to the City of Rockville Community Services Division on behalf of eligible city residents.
