Rockville community members, the Mayor and Council and city staff joined Montgomery County for the annual Juneteenth celebration on June 21 at BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown. The celebration, with the theme of “Pushing Back — The Fight for Freedom Is Not Over,” featured focused talks, artisans and performances.
