Public to Pick: Artist Finalists to Present Designs for Memory Walk Art
September 5, 2025
Three artists will present proposals for the Memory Walk Park Public Art Project during a public meeting from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at Croydon Creek Nature Center, 852 Avery Road.

Artists Vito di Bari, Dina Fisher and Craig Gray will share their designs, and Lincoln Park residents will be invited to vote for their favorite. Memory Walk Park is located at 300 Lincoln Park Ave.
“Memory Walk,” originally created by Christine Hoestine in 1995, saw a central component removed in 2024. The new art piece will replace it. Submitting artists were asked to reflect the deep and significant cultural history of the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
The meeting will be held in person and online via Webex. No registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.
To join virtually, visit bit.ly/rkvmemorywalk. The meeting access number is 2867 173 9303, and the password is beTN9PNYy84.
An online survey will open Saturday, Sept. 13, allowing Lincoln Park residents to select the artwork they like best.
