Rocktobierfest Brings the Bands, Beers and Bratwurst

Rocktobierfest returns to Rockville Town Center on Saturday, Sept. 27 for a Bavarian-themed bash.
The seventh edition of the free festival, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., will include two stages of live music, food, beer sales by local breweries and an artisan shopping area. This popular event attracts nearly 8,000 people each year.
Bavarian bands and pop rock cover acts taking to the stages include The Rockets, D’ Potomactaler Stamm, Ocho de Bastos, Isaac Krapf Band, Alt Washingtonia and Rockville German Band.
Featured beverage vendors include 7 Locks Brewing, Clear Skies Meadery, Crooked Crab Brewing Company, Denizens Brewing Co., Lone Oak Farm Brewing Co., Saints Row Brewing, Silver Branch Brewing Company, Third Hill Brewing Co., Twin Valley Distillers, Waredaca Brewing Company and World of Beer.
The festival site is located next to Courthouse Square Park in Rockville Town Center and is within walking distance of Rockville Metro station. Free parking locations include the County Council Office Building on Fleet Street, and the City Hall lot at 111 Maryland Ave.
