Virtual Public Meeting on Carr Avenue Sidewalk Alignment

City staff will conduct a virtual public meeting with community members to discuss the potential alignment of a sidewalk on Carr Avenue.

The meeting’s goal is to describe the sidewalk alignment and its associated impacts, and to collect comments for consideration by the project team.

The Department of Public Works hired a consultant to design a sidewalk on the south side of Carr Avenue to provide a connection between Luckett Street and existing sidewalks at the intersection of Carr Avenue and Forest Avenue.

Schematic sidewalk alignment plans are available for review at rockvillemd.gov/CarrAvenueSidewalk.

As an alternative to attending the meeting, feel free to review the plans online and submit any comments by Friday, Feb. 13 to the project manager listed below.
