Rockville Swim and Fitness Center to Host Summer Hiring Event

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will host a walk-in hiring event for part-time summer positions from 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 23. The center is seeking lifeguards, swim instructors and front desk staff. 

Those interested in summer employment at the center can attend at any time during the event. No appointment is required. This will be a one-stop opportunity for prospective employees to learn about available positions, apply on site and begin the interview process. 

Center management will be available to meet with applicants, discuss job interests and help guide them through the application process.  Attendees can complete an employment application, take part in a skills evaluation for their preferred position and schedule a return visit for a verbal interview. 

Certifications and prior work experience are not required to attend the event, and training opportunities are available for prospective employees. 

Applicants should bring a swimsuit, towel and their summer availability.  Applications can be submitted in advance at rockvillemd.gov/careers.  Applying ahead of time is not required.
