Rockville to Consider Property Conveyance for 301 Frederick Ave.

The Rockville Mayor and Council are scheduled to consider an ordinance during their Monday, April 13 meeting to authorize conveyance of city-owned property located at 301 Frederick Ave. The meeting is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.

The proposal follows a determination by city officials that the property is no longer needed for public use. Under Maryland state law and city code, the city must provide at least 20 days of public notice before the sale or conveyance of any municipal real estate.

Staff introduced the ordinance during the Mayor and Council’s March 2 meeting. The upcoming April 13 session will serve as the scheduled date for adoption of the ordinance.
