Rockville Police Investigating Stabbing, One Juvenile in Custody

The Rockville City Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred Tuesday, March 25, at approximately 8:32 p.m. in the 400 block of Redland Boulevard.
Officers responded to the area after receiving a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, units located a juvenile victim suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound. The victim was provided medical assistance on scene and transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
A 13-year-old juvenile suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the incident and charged with attempted murder, first- and second-degree assault, and other weapons-related charges.
Officers are continuing to search for a second juvenile suspect, who remains at large. Investigators have identified this individual and are actively working to locate him following an extensive overnight search.
