Memory Walk Park Public Art Workshop Invites Community Participation
April 1, 2026
Lincoln Park residents are invited to help shape a new public artwork planned for Memory Walk Park.
The city will hold a community workshop from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Croydon Creek Nature Center, 852 Avery Road. Attendance is in person, with a virtual option available via Webex. Visit rockvillemd.gov/event/ memory-walk-park-public-art-workshop for more information.
Memory Walk Park, at 300 Lincoln Ave., is a reflective space that honors the history and legacy of the Lincoln Park community. The public art installation is planned as a permanent feature within the park. Artist Dina Fisher will lead the session in person, gathering ideas and input for the project’s final design. The final installation is anticipated in fall.
Participants will have an opportunity to contribute directly to the artwork. Community members may trace the outline of a hand to be incorporated into the border of the piece and suggest family-friendly words to be engraved on one of the sculptures.
The workshop is open to Lincoln Park residents. No registration is required.
