Water Main Repair: Wootton Parkway Closed

Wootton Parkway is closed to through traffic between Greenplace Terrace and Hurley Avenue as the City of Rockville’s Department of Public Works responds to a water main break on Wootton Parkway.
Thomas S. Wootton High School, 2100 Wootton Parkway, is without water service and is dismissing students for the day. The school is accessible to parents and guardians picking up students with access to Wootton Parkway from either side.
There are no other customers affected by the service outage.
Residents in the vicinity of Greenplace Terrace and Hurley Avenue may navigate around cones in place to reach their homes. Rockville City Police Department officers are present and available to respond to questions and provide directional assistance.
