Community Meeting and Field Walk Scheduled for Potomac Woods Stormwater Improvements Project

May 1, 2026

Rockville staff and the city’s design consultant will host a public meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 5 in the Mayor and Council chambers at Rockville City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave., to discuss the design of storm drain improvements, stormwater management pond maintenance and stream spot repair.

The goal is to present the 30% project design and gather community feedback for consideration by the project team.

Planned storm drain improvements throughout the neighborhood aim to reduce flooding. Work in Potomac Woods Park will include improvements to the storm drain outfall, stormwater pond and a stream spot repair.
