Keep Happy and Healthy This Summer at the Senior Center

Stay healthy, happy, informed and entertained with the Rockville Senior Center in May and June.

The senior center is located at 1150 Carnation Drive. 

Information for maintaining good health, a raffle, healthy snacks and health tests will be available. Vaccines will be available. Local vendors, prizes and more.

The Capital Area Food Bank Mobile Market provides fresh produce to local communities free of charge. The program supports community members at risk of hunger, with no income requirements or other qualifications. Bring a reusable bag. 

Dress up, show off your hats and spend an evening with friends. 

Register with course #39674; $3 members/$5 nonmembers. 

Celebrate mothers at a floral-themed garden party. Light refreshments will be served. Entertainment by harpist Wynne Roos.

A quick and free check for drivers to see how they and their vehicles work together. Call the senior center at 240-314-8800 to register for a 12-point checklist appointment. This program is presented by the Maryland Department of Transportation. 

A virtual monthly group that supports healthy aging, featuring guest speakers. Free. 

A calming retreat that offers hand, seat and foot massagers, gentle ambient sounds, soft lighting and quiet activities, creating the perfect environment to unwind and recharge, with a maximum of two people at a time. Senior center membership required. 

Open 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday, the Zen Den is designed to be enjoyed in 10-20-minute increments.
