Recycle Right in Rockville 

Keep plastic recycling simple: bottles, tubs, jars and jugs. No need to check numbers or symbols. 

Recycle items like water bottles, yogurt tubs, peanut butter jars and milk jugs. 

Do not recycle: 

• Foam (“Styrofoam”) of any kind. 
• Tanglers like cords, hoses or hangers. 
• Plastic bags, wrap or film (take these to store drop-offs). 
• Avoid “wishful recycling.” When in doubt, throw it out.
