Memorial Day and Juneteenth in Rockville

Rockville City Hall and some city facilities will be closed Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day and Friday, June 19, as the city observes Juneteenth.
During the week of May 25, recycling, trash and yard waste collections will be made one day later than usual. Collections during the Juneteenth holiday week will occur as usual. Find more information at rockvillemd.gov/recycling-trash.
The following facilities will be closed May 25 and June 19: Rockville Senior Center; Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers; Croydon Creek Nature Center; Glenview Mansion and the Rockville Civic Center business office; and the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre box office. Find tickets at rockvillemd.gov/theatre.
The Rockville Skate Park will be open. The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will operate on a modified schedule on May 25 and June 19.
Due to the city’s Memorial Day parade, access to the swim center’s parking lot will be restricted until the afternoon of May 25. Visit rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter for individual pool schedules or call 240-314-8750.
Parking will be free at city-owned meters on May 25 and June 19.
