Construction to Begin on Villages at Tower Oaks Stormwater Management Project

Construction is set to begin in November 2026 for the Villages at Tower Oaks project, part of Rockville’s stormwater management facility improvements. The project includes dredging the existing pond to improve water treatment, removing trees from the embankment to meet regulatory requirements and planting native vegetation.
In early to mid-November, Magstone, LLC will begin preparing the site by setting controls, marking the limits of disturbance and installing tree protection and erosion and sediment controls. Construction is expected to begin in mid- to late November.
Residents of the Villages at Tower Oaks near Treasure Oak Court may experience construction vehicle traffic and noise. Temporary on-street parking restrictions may be in place near construction entrances. Signs will notify residents of parking restrictions. Access to properties will be available at all times.
Work hours are 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Construction is expected to be completed in spring 2027.
