Montrose Woods Park is a sprawling 6.1-acre forest preserve, tucked just northeast of the housing development at the north end of Tildenwood Drive. To get there, take a walk down the steep path between 12217 and 12221 Tildenwood Drive and find yourself immersed in nature. At the bottom, you’ll discover a playground with picnic tables and benches—perfect for a rest after your little forest adventure. And don’t forget to bring your leashed dog along for the fun!
