The newly renovated and expanded locker rooms and lobby area at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center reopened in January 2020. Based on community recommendations and an architectural audit, key elements of the project included:
- Increasing the size and capacity of the locker rooms.
- Modernizing infrastructure and amenities.
- Improving ADA compliance.
- Providing family and gender-neutral locker room areas.
- Reconfiguring the lobby.
