Talbott Street Water Tower Site Redevelopment
This project includes the demolition of a 1970s-era, 1-million-gallon water tower located at 200 Talbott St. Once the structure is removed, the 0.28-acre site will be converted into a small public park designed to provide new neighborhood green space.
The future park is planned to include a range of recreational features. Conceptual plans may include a playground, picnic tables, walking paths, new landscaping, and a sidewalk connection for pedestrian access. Final design details are still being developed and will be refined through the ongoing design process and public input.
Design work is currently underway and is expected to be completed by fall 2026. Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2027.
