Rockville To Hold Neighborhood Meetings on Westmore Avenue Annexation

Planning Commission Review, Public Hearing to Follow

April 9, 2026

Two meetings with area residents will be held in April to discuss a proposed annexation of about 10.45 acres at 1000 Westmore Ave. and Stonestreet Ave.

The neighborhood meetings are scheduled for 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21 and Tuesday, April 28 at the Rockville Pump House, 401 S. Horners Lane.

The Mayor and Council introduced the annexation proposal on Feb. 2, after an annexation petition was submitted Wednesday, Jan. 7. The annexation area comprises three parcels. Following the neighborhood meetings, the Planning Commission will review and approve the annexation proposal, then hold a public hearing on the plan.

More information is available on the project page.
