Apply for a Parking Permit
About Apply for a Parking Permit
Residents living within a permit-restricted parking zone are eligible for residential parking permits. Enter your address into the Residential Parking Permit District Map to check your eligibility.
Each household receives two visitor parking permits in addition to the residential parking permit. Residential and visitor permits are valid only within your designated parking zone and are not transferable to another zone.
The three-year renewal rate for parking permits is $15 per vehicle. Rates decrease by $5 per year on a
prorated basis until the end of each cycle:
- Year 1: $15
- Year 2: $10
- Year 3: $5
How to Apply
Community members can apply online or submit a completed application in person or by mail to the Rockville City Police Station. A copy of your vehicle registration or proof of residency must be included. Please allow five to seven business days for processing.
