The annual Rockville Means Business event, hosted by the Procurement Department, offers vendors an opportunity to learn more about doing business with city government. The event features information sessions and exhibits by city departments, giving vendors a chance to interact with City of Rockville staff. Minority-, female-, disabled-, or veteran-owned businesses are especially encouraged to attend.
The third annual Rockville Means Business took place in November 2025 at Glenview Mansion, featuring sessions on the city’s e-bidding system, vendor collaboration portal, strategies for doing business with the city, and a moderated panel discussion with representatives from the city’s key departments.
