Youth Mentors

A mentor is a compassionate volunteer who offers support and encouragement to a child to reach their full potential. The individualized attention can be a powerful tool for helping kids to succeed in life.

Duties to be Expected

  • Meet with student for one hour once a week at a specific group location the same day and time each week.
  • Follow program structure.
  • Provide academic and social support for elementary school aged child.

Qualifications

Must be patient, kind, and like children. Additionally, must be responsible, consistent and respectful.

Application Process

Complete the online application to be a volunteer between October-June. 

Volunteers will commitment to one hour, once a week from October to June. If the volunteer would like to commit more time, that is an option.
