Only nonprofit organizations that provide human services or community enrichment programs to individuals residing within the corporate city limits of Rockville are eligible to apply.

Refer to the application guide below to help structure your application.

Attend a Virtual Technical Session

Register for and attend one of the following virtual technical sessions:

• Session 1: Sept. 8, 2026, 10-11 a.m.
• Session 2: Sept. 24, 2026, 4-5 p.m.
• Session 3: Oct. 8, 2026, 2-3 p.m.

Complete the Application

Start the application process by visiting the online grant portal and clicking the “Create New Account” button to set up your login credentials. Click the “Apply” button and complete the Eligibility Form to determine if your organization qualifies for this grant.

Submit All Required Materials

Upload the following required documents with your application in the online grant portal:

• Audit, financial statement, or compilation for most recent completed operating year.
• IRS Form 990 for most recent completed operating year.
• Board roster identifying officers and term limits.
• Document of application submission authority signed by the executive director and
  board president, using your own organization’s letterhead. View an example of what this document should look like here.
• Grant Budget, Output, and Outcomes Workbook
