Rockville Senior Center offers classes, courses, and workshops all year long to keep your mind and body active. Come to one of our classes and learn a new skill, stay active with a fitness group, or meet with fellow book lovers to discuss classic literature. From woodworking to technology, we offer classes for every lifelong learner.
Rockville Senior Center offers different membership levels to meet a wide range of needs.
How to Register

Fall 2026 Adults 60+ Recreation and Services Guide
Registration opens Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 8:30 a.m. for Rockville Senior Center members and City of Rockville residents, and Thursday, Aug. 13 at 8:30 a.m. for general registration.
Make the most of autumn by exploring new interests, meeting new friends, and enjoying everything our fall senior programs have to offer. Celebrate a variety of occasions such as Hallowine and Hispanic Festival, Mindful Moments wellness event, and our annual Turkey Trot. Travel the world with our new fitness series. Take a trip to Brookville Beer Farm or enjoy “The Donna Summer Musical!”

Summer 2026 Adults 60+ Recreation and Services Guide
Registration opens Tuesday, May 5 at 8:30 a.m. for Rockville Senior Center members and City of Rockville residents, and Thursday, March 7 at 8:30 a.m. for general registration.
Sizzling summer fun alert at Rockville Senior Center! Learn more about a hot topic – “AI” – by taking a course with our technology expert, or about a hot sport – pickleball – new with our sports and fitness department. Take a virtual program and discuss “Summer in the Good Ol’ Days.” Show your Maryland pride and decorate Maryland-themed sugar cookies or discover Montgomery County schools named for famous people during a three-series program. Stay healthy and find out about “Protein: Are You Getting Enough?” or take a virtual program through our Positive Aging Program. At Rockville Senior Center, there’s something for everyone.

Trips
When you travel with the Senior Center, you can relax and leave the driving and parking to us. Travel in the comfort of a chartered bus or in a Rockville Senior Center bus for local adventures. All trips start and end at the Rockville Senior Center.

Positive Aging Programs
Positive Aging Programs offer unique opportunities to meet fellow seniors and chat about the day, current events, or whatever you like. Programs are free and meet twice a month from 1-2:30 p.m. Must be 60+ or older. Please register online or call 240-314-8800. All programs are held virtually and registrants will be given a link after registration.
