This introductory program presented by Croydon Creek’s beekeeper will cover the basics of backyard beekeeping, including what equipment you’ll need, where to get it, how to choose and prepare your apiary site and what to expect during your first and second seasons with bees. Learn what you can do now to be ready for bees next spring. Come with questions and leave with answers, resources and information to support your beekeeping journey. Ages 16+. Registration begins August 11 for Rockville residents. General Registration begins August 13.
