Walktober to Feature Walk and Roll and Candlelight Vigil

Walktober to Feature Walk and Roll and Candlelight Vigil

Join the Rockville Pedestrian Advocacy Committee, city staff and elected officials for a neighborhood walk and roll and candlelight vigil at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, as part of Walktober.

Learn about pedestrian initiatives, city projects and the city’s Vision Zero initiative to eliminate traffic-related deaths and serious injuries, and take part in a candlelit vigil to remember those impacted by traffic crashes.

The walk and roll will begin and end at the Twinbrook Community Recreation Center, 12920 Twinbrook Parkway.

For details, check the city’s calendar or email principal transportation planner Bryan Barnett-Woods at bbwoods@rockvillemd.gov.
