Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports
The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) must conform with generally accepted accounting principles and be audited by a licensed certified public accounting firm. The ACFR describes how the city uses its financial resources each year, and provides a picture of the city’s financial condition as of June 30, which is the city’s fiscal year end.
Popular Annual Financial Reports
The Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) is a supplement to the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). The PAFR includes financial and other information that is presented in the ACFR and annual budget document. Unlike the ACFR, the PAFR is more easily digestible for the everyday reader.
Quarterly Financial Reports
The Quarterly Financial Report provides interim budget to actual information on the city’s general fund and enterprise funds. Additional information and explanations are provided for significant revenue and expenditure trends. The quarterly reports provide added transparency to the city’s finances and support the decision-making of the Mayor and Council, city manager, and city departments.
Investment Policy and Reports
For the investment reports listed below, city staff acknowledges compliance with the city’s Statement of Investment Policy and certifies that the city has sufficient liquidity to meet its expenditure obligations for the next six months.
