Our camp programs offer children the opportunity to socialize with peers, express creativity, learn new skills, play recreational games, and stay active throughout the summer. Whether you are looking for childcare options, half-days in the park or specialty activities such as drama, STEAM, gymnastics, or in-service learning camps for teens, we have programs for everyone. 

Our top-notch staff are chosen for their experience, enthusiasm, and desire to work with children. All our camps have been modified to meet federal, state and local guidelines for health and safety and follow the State’s COVID-19 Guidance for Child Care Facilities. Register early and take advantage of our flexible payment plans and refund policies in 2021.

Summer Camp Guide

Registration is now OPEN!

Return to fun in 2021 with Rockville summer camps. Campers will have a great time socializing with friends, learning new skills, expressing creativity and playing active games. Whether you are looking for childcare options, half-days in the park or specialty activities such as drama, STEAM, gymnastics, or in-service learning camps for teens, we have programs for everyone. All camps have been modified to keep our staff and campers safe while having fun!

We are keeping our camps safe by:
  • Thoroughly training and background checking all staff.
  • Implementing daily health screenings for campers and staff.
  • Requiring face coverings and physical distancing when appropriate.
  • Increasing hand washing and sanitization of supplies and areas.
  • Keeping the same small groups of staff and campers together throughout the sessions.
  • Having transparent communication with families regarding any health or safety.

Our camp staff training includes:

  • CPR/AED,First Aid and Medication Administration.
  • Covid-19 mitigation procedures.
  • Techniques in working well with children and proper supervision.
  • Activity planning and skills development.

TYPES OF SUMMER CAMPS


Specialty Camps

  • Small groups and low staff-to-camper ratio.
  • Fees ranges depending on activity and supply costs.
  • Learn about cooking, cheer, art, drama, robotics, STEAM, gymnastics, science, nature and more.
  • Full day or half day, one-or two-week options, depending on the program.
  • Various sessions throughout the summer.

Park Adventures

  • Half-day, outdoor programs at park locations. 
  • Two-week sessions from June 21-Aug. 13
  • Operates from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. 
  • Small groups and low staff-to-camper ratio.
  • Theme weeks, games, sports, arts and crafts, and water activities.

Park Adventures Plus

  • Longer day programs at sites that have indoor access.
  • Outdoor time and activities will be prioritized. 
  • Two-week sessions from June 21-Aug. 13
  • Operates from 9 a.m. -4:30 p.m. 
  • Small groups and low staff-to-camper ratio.
  • Theme weeks, games, sports, arts and crafts, and water activities. ·
